Tide
Point has partnered with leading and award-winning telecommunications
carriers to provide our tenants the proper wiring in order to meet
today's technology needs. With a state-of-the-art telecommunications
infrastructure known as a Communications Distribution System (CDS),
Tide Points entire campus is equipped with the necessary wiring
to support todays key communications services. The CDS allows
tenants to have high-speed connectivity to any telecom carrier,
internet service provider, or e-commerce provider within hours of
new circuit delivery.
Fiber-optic networks bring carrier services to the buildings and
deliver services directly to tenant floors. What does this mean
to our tenants and their constituents?
- Broadband Infrastructure. Our CDS platform delivers optical
fiber cabling, high-speed copper, and voice grade circuits to
every floor at Tide Point, offering virtually unlimited bandwidth
for broadband applications and services, including SONET-based
fiber-optic technologies, ATM, frame relay, OC-level applications,
T-1, T-3, ISDN, and xDSL.
- Seamless Inter-Floor Connections. With the capacity to
serve the entire building, the CDS and a fiber connection provide
easy LAN/WAN connectivity to additional space on other floors,
or in other buildings.
- Greater Reliability and Survivability. With more providers
serving the building, tenants need not be dependent on a single
carrier's network. Tide Point also provides preventative maintenance
and coordinate emergency repairs around the clock.
- Faster Service. With a robust building infrastructure
in place, there are no delays caused by running cable through
the "last 100 feet." Service can be delivered within
hours instead of weeks.
- Increased Security. Access to and activity within all
telecom spaces, including riser closets, will be tightly controlled
and managed, reducing the risk of service disruption.
- Greater Choice of Suppliers and Services. The CDS is
available for use on a competitively neutral basis by any telecom
provider. That means more options for telecom and Internet service
providers and high-speed services.
- Competitive Prices. Increased competition within the
campus keeps prices for telecommunications services low.
- 24 - hour Customer Support and Management.
